Terms of Service

Welcome to the Flatbush Hatzoloh Member Portal (the "Application"). By accessing or using this Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Application.

This Application is an internal management system exclusively for authorized members of Flatbush Hatzoloh who are certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) or Paramedics.

Access to this Application is restricted to:

• Active members of Flatbush Hatzoloh in good standing
• Individuals who have been issued authorized credentials
• Users who have completed all required onboarding and training
• Members who maintain current EMT or Paramedic certification

Unauthorized access or use of this Application is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action and/or legal consequences.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring your profile information is accurate and up-to-date
• Immediately notifying administration of any unauthorized access
• Using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication when available

You may not share your account credentials with others or allow others to access the Application using your account.

The Application is provided for the following purposes:

• Requesting and managing medical equipment
• Reporting ambulance and facility issues
• Reserving loaner vehicles
• Booking the Simcha Hall for approved events
• Receiving organizational notifications and updates
• Accessing member resources and information

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Application for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
• Access or attempt to access areas of the system you are not authorized to access
• Interfere with or disrupt the Application's functionality or security
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent requests or information
• Abuse or misuse organizational resources (equipment, vehicles, facilities)
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users or administrators
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Application
• Share sensitive organizational information with unauthorized parties

When requesting equipment or vehicles through the Application:

• You agree to use all organizational resources responsibly and only for approved purposes
• You are responsible for the proper care and timely return of all borrowed items
• You must report any damage, loss, or issues immediately
• You agree to comply with all organizational policies regarding equipment and vehicle use
• You understand that misuse may result in loss of privileges and disciplinary action

The Application uses Google Sign-In for authentication and may request access to your Google Calendar to add approved events (such as loaner car reservations).

By using the Application, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your use of Google services through the Application is subject to Google's Terms of Service
• You can revoke calendar access at any time through your Google Account settings
• The Application's use of Google data complies with Google's Limited Use requirements
• We only request the minimum permissions necessary for functionality

All information, requests, and communications submitted through the Application:

• Must be accurate, truthful, and complete
• Must comply with all applicable laws and organizational policies
• May be monitored and reviewed by administrators
• Should maintain professional standards appropriate for an emergency medical organization

By using the Application, you consent to receiving:

• Email notifications regarding your requests and activities
• In-app notifications about request statuses and updates
• Organizational announcements and important communications
• Administrative messages from supervisors and leadership

You may opt out of non-essential notifications through your profile settings, but certain critical communications cannot be disabled.

All content, features, and functionality of the Application, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the property of Flatbush Hatzoloh and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without express written permission.

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Flatbush Hatzoloh does not warrant that:

• The Application will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Application is free of viruses or harmful components

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLATBUSH HATZOLOH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Your use of the Application is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Flatbush Hatzoloh reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Application at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Termination of membership with Flatbush Hatzoloh
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended inactivity

Upon termination, your right to access and use the Application will immediately cease.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Application with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
